This may well be our Don Balon of the Day, and we don’t mean that in a good way.
The Spanish imagirumour website will not let go of the idea of Neymar moving to Manchester United. Old Trafford seems to be their favoured destination for the Brazilian right now, rather than the long pushed story of him swapping PSG for Real Madrid.
In Paris they’re already ‘more than tired’ with Neymar, and he’s not so thrilled with the French club either. There’s already cracks in what always looked a marriage of convenience.
As PSG were winning the Ligue 1 title, an image was posted to social media of Neymar playing online poker, with the club’s game on in the background.
Unsurprisingly, it’s not gone down well.
We can believe some of that, we can believe both PSG and Neymar not being as thrilled with each other as they’d have hoped, and we can believe a possible Manchester United interest… just.
But it’s the next bit we’re having problems with: ‘Manchester United is also there, and PSG would see it with better eyes. As long as the ‘red devils’ put 400 million on the table, Neymar can leave this summer.’
Just the €400m then.
