West Ham United have struck an agreement with Lorient for striker Terem Moffi, but a move to London Stadium is just one of three options the Ligue 1 side see for him.
That’s according to journalist Mohamed Toubache-Ter, who says Nice and Marseille are also in the picture for the highly-rated striker.
West Ham have been linked with Moffi throughout this month, with David Moyes determined to add to his forward line with Gianluca Scamacca and Michail Antonio struggling for goals.
They eventually signed Danny Ings from Aston Villa but have continued to be linked with Moffi, who has 12 goals in 18 games in Ligue 1 this year.
They’ve been working on a deal with Lorient to bring him to the London Stadium and Toubache-Ter now states that they ‘have an agreement’ in place with the French side.
Nice are another option, which the player seems to prefer, but are just ‘holding on’ for now.
That suggests West Ham have managed to get themselves to the front of the queue, although there is no mention of a price, and previous reports have suggested he isn’t interested in the move.
Either way, the Hammers have finally reached an agreement for a player they’ve been targeting all month, which is a significant step forward at this point.
