Juvetus have added Fulham’s Joachim Andersen to their list of potential defensive reinforcements in January.
That’s according to journalist Giovanni Albanese, who says the Italian giants have added the Fulham man to their list of options to be explored.
He reports that Juventus are looking at a list of former Serie A defenders to strengthen their defence in the January transfer window.
Milan Skriniar is currently the one being looked at most intensely, but the club’s transfer team have also moved to look at Fulham’s Joachim Andersen and Tottenham’s Radu Dragusin.
Andersen spent two years playing for Sampdoria in Italy after joining them from FC Twente in 2017, making 42 appearances for them in that time before moving to Lyon.
He’s since played for Fulham on loan, Crystal Palace and then returned to Fulham in a €29.5m deal this summer.
It seems unlikely that Marco Silva’s side would sanction any deal in January given Andersen was brought in to replace Tosin Adarabioyo and losing him through the middle of the campaign would be a major issue. They’d surely want more than the price they paid for him also.
Whether Juventus would be willing to pay such a high price isn’t clear, but Andersen is seemingly on their list as they look for a signing in January.
