Legia Warsaw defender Josip Juranovic will join Celtic in a €3m deal after the Polish side accepting their second offer yesterday.

That’s according to SportoweFakty, who say ‘all is clear’ for the player to make the move to Celtic imminently.

They report that Juranovic is set to play for Legia against Slavia Prague before changing his employer after Celtic agreed to pay a €3m fee for the right-back.

Juranovic is yet to agree personal terms with the Scottish giants, but the website assumes this will be a ‘formality’, hinting he is keen on the move.

They state that negotiations between Celtic and Legia have been ongoing ‘for several weeks’, but now everything indicates that they are in the ‘final’ stages and close to being completed.

According to their information, Celtic returned to the table after facing frustration in their attempt to sign Brazilin Yan Couto from Manchester City.

He was their first choice but made it clear he didn’t want the move, so Celtic abandoned their efforts and instead went for Juranovic, with a €3m move now on the cards as a result.
