Italian side Como signed Maximo Perrone on loan from Manchester City in the summer transfer window.
Since the midfielder’s arrival in Serie A, he’s made a mark under Cesc Fabregas. Perrone has played 22 times in the league and has racked up two assists, having previously had his progress hindered by injury.
Como now seem quite impressed with the Manchester City loanee and Tuttomercatoweb have provided an update about his situation.
The outlet claim that Fabregas’ side have the option to extend Perrone’s loan deal for another season, with the Argentine also attracting major interest from Inter Milan because of his performances this season.
Como want to exercise the option to extend the loan and the report is confident that Perrone will not return to Manchester City in the summer.
All things point towards the 22-year-old spending a third consecutive season away from the Etihad Stadium, having spent the 2023/24 season on loan at Las Palmas.
It remains to be seen if Peronne really has a future at Manchester City or not but he has now proven himself in two different major leagues and that is definitely a good sign for the Citizens.
