Manchester United loanee Antony continues to impress during his stint at Real Betis.
He has four goals and four assists in all competitions and the move is working out on and off the pitch for the Spanish side.
ABC Sevilla report that Manchester United will now not receive any loan fee in the deal for the Brazilian.
When Antony had left the Red Devils in the winter transfer window, Real Betis agreed to pay a small percentage of his salary and a penalty fee if the winger didn’t play at least 15 games.
This clause was added to make sure that the 25-year-old developed at the Estadio Benito Villamarin and through this, Manchester United could assess the player’s future once again in the summer depending on his growth.
The Brazil international played his 15th game of the season for Manuel Pellegrini’s side at the weekend against Villarreal.
Had the loan turned out terribly, and Antony not played then Real Betis would have had to pay as much as €560k as a penalty clause.
The newspaper state that Real Betis will soon speak to Manchester United about extending Antony’s loan deal, with the player having made it clear that he wants to stay at the Spanish side.
