Roma striker Tammy Abraham is considering his future at the club amid interest from Tottenham Hotspur.
That’s according to Corriere dello Sport, who insist the Englishman won’t be moving in January but is very much thinking about his future in Rome.
The newspaper explains that Abraham ‘wonders about the future’ after a disappointing start to the season and ‘the first whistles’ from the crowd inside the Olimpico.
Despite this he continues to have ‘admirers’ in England, despite failing to make the World Cup squad, with Tottenham known to ‘like him’.
The striker is not going to be moving in the January transfer window, but the future is ‘all to be written’, even if Chelsea have an option to exercise an option to bring him back.
The possibility of moving comes amid a disappointing period for Abraham which has led the forward looking to ‘regain his enthusiasm’ during the World Cup break.
He has struggled for the kind of form he enjoyed last season and even lost the faith of Jose Mourinho, who has been a staunch supporter but come out and criticised him in recent weeks.
Thus, Abraham is very much ‘waiting to see what will happen’ in June, with Tottenham among his ‘admirers’ in the Premier League and ready to move if he or Roma decide it is time for him to leave Italy.
Their interest would presumably be dependent on the future of Harry Kane, who has been linked with a move to Bayern Munich.
