Vole reporter Yagiz Sabuncuoglu claims Rangers have made an official bid for Fenerbahce winger Bright Osayi-Samuel.

The Nigerian, who only joined Turkish side from QPR during the last winter transfer window, has been linked with a move away from the club, and recent reports said both Rangers and Celtic were interested in the youngster.

Steven Gerrard will be looking to add to his squad this summer as the Ibrox side look to defend their league title and the Fenerbahce player looks to be an option for them in the coming months.

According to Sabuncuoglu, Rangers have made the first move to sign the 23 year old but his situation with the Super Lig club is unclear at this stage.

Fener are still looking to appoint a new manager and Sabuncuoglu says whoever they bring in will decide the future of Osayi-Samuel.

Since joining Fener, the player hasn’t been able to replicate the form he showed in the Championship with QPR, scoring just once in 18 league appearances.

He’s under contract at the Ulker Stadium until June 2025.
