Manchester United are about to make their new attempt for the signing of Inter Milan goalkeeper André Onana, according to reports.
Italian journalist Rudy Galetti writes on Twitter that the Red Devils’ new offer is now ‘imminent’.
The understanding is that Manchester United’s bid will be of over €50m, and the add-ons means they will be getting close to €60m, which is the price requested by Inter Milan.
To prove how advanced the move is, it’s said that the Nerazzurri are currently in contact with Onana’s agents, and ‘developments are expected soon’.
On Thursday morning, newspaper Gazzetta Dello Sport also brought their explanation about the situation.
It was claimed that following an unsuccessful €45m bid from Manchester United this week, the Red Devils now decided to raise it to around €50m, and that could be tabled today.
The Italian media has been very optimistic about the move, as even though Inter Milan are making a big request for him, they always claim the clubs could end up finding a middle ground.
Now we wait and see if this new attempt will be enough for the agreement.
