It doesn’t matter if we’re in a transfer window or not, the rumours about Gareth Bale’s transfer to Manchester United will always be there. It has been like this since his time at Southampton, and it won’t change.

The Madrid press is back with a new story this week, regarding a new offer that the Red Devils made to take the player from Real Madrid this summer.

Eduardo Inda, from El Chiringuito, claims that the player has turned down a salary of €25m net per season at Manchester United. According to the journalist, the Welshman currently makes €14m at Real Madrid.

This is the headline from OK Diario’s story, but the most absurd part isn’t much highlighted. Inda claims that the offer made to Real Madrid was of €250m for Bale.

El Chiringuito have a bid history on many big transfer rumours, and whilst some gave them credit over Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus, they’d almost claimed every single possibility for the player’s future.
