Arriving at Hull City this summer for £2.7m from Fenerbahce, there were a lot of expectations placed on Ozan Tufan’s shoulders.

After all, the player boasts 65 appearances for Turkey, and yet it hasn’t gone that well for him to date.

Hull City currently sit 20th in the Championship after 11 games, picking up just 11 points from a potential 33, and the fans are starting to turn on certain players.

In fact, Mynet in Turkey are reporting that the player’s weight continues to be an issue for all involved, and despite scoring two goals in his first four games for the club, ‘was almost absent in the next few matches’.

Following all this, it appears the midfielder has already made his mind up about one thing, and the outlet believe Tufan ‘is expected to leave the team at the end of the season’.

We’ll have to see about that, because Hull City still have a lot of time to turn things around, and so does the player, but it seems the recent criticism hasn’t gone down well down the Turkey international’s end, who could already had had enough with his second stint in England.

Prior to the move to the MKM Stadium, Tufan spent last season on loan at Watford, where he made a measly nine appearances in all competitions.
