ES Troyes AC’s Savinho is set to complete a move to Manchester City this summer.

That’s according to Sport, and their title says he’ll be ‘presented as a new Manchester City player on Wednesday’.

The winger was on loan at Girona last season and starred for them, managing 11 goals and 10 assists from 41 games.

His form for the La Liga side helped him make his debut for Brazil earlier this year and also attracted interest from other clubs, including Barcelona.

Sport state Barcelona considered signing the 20-year-old, but had to back off because of their financial situation. Girona were hoping to take him back on loan again but that won’t happen because of Manchester City.

In December, the Premier League winners decided to buy him from Troyes, and it was relatively easy for them to agree a deal as the two clubs are owned by the City Football Group.

Savinho wants to play under Pep Guardiola because he believes the Citizens manager can make him a better player, which can help him feature regularly for the national team. This has been the decisive factor for him to pick Manchester City.

It’s further claimed the Manchester City manager is ‘already waiting for him’ and the deal to take the Brazil international to the Etihad will go through ‘on Wednesday’.

This was mentioned in Sport’s title, and within the report, they state that if there are no last-minute surprises, he’ll be presented as Manchester City’s first signing of this window on Wednesday.
