According to a claim in the Turkish media, Galatasaray are showing interest in Liverpool defender Andy Robertson.

It’s been widely reported in the past week that the Super Lig champions are looking to bring in an experienced left back following concerns about the options they have in that position going into next season.

Aspor today report on the latest left back to be linked with Galatasaray and they say the Liverpool player is on their wish list. At this stage there are no reports of transfer talks taking place or an offer being lined up.

However, these reports sound far-fetched and it would be ambitious if the Istanbul side could convince Robertson or Liverpool over a move this summer.

Robertson is the second Premier League left back to be linked with a move to Cimbom in the past 24 hours following reports they have made an offer for Aston Villa’s Lucas Digne.

There have claims in the Turkish press they want to loan the Frenchman for the season, but the player isn’t too convinced on a move to the Super Lig.
