Even though City Group’s chase for Atlético-MG youngster Savinho has gone quiet in the past week, the Brazilian media continues to be confident that the deal is about to happen.

A story from Globo Esporte now claims there’s a verbal agreement between Manchester City’s owners and the Belo Horizonte club.

It’s said Atlético-MG already accepted the bid, which is on the paper along with other details. Now what is missing is the signature from all those involved.

According to Globo Esporte, the three parties believe ‘everything moves well’ for an agreement, and the deal involving the Manchester City owners is expected to be made official until the end of the week.

Even though the City Group and Atlético-MG have all details agreed, the player is still waiting to know which club he’ll be playing for.

Savinho isn’t expected to move to Manchester City, at least not for now, as previous reports have been claiming that he should sign for Troyes at first.

The winger is moving on a deal worth €6.5m, with other potential €6m in bonuses.
