Christian Eriksen’s move from Tottenham to Inter Milan should be finalised on Monday with both clubs agreeing to delay the announcement.

Yesterday we covered various reports from Italy that Inter and Tottenham had finally agreed on a deal for the midfielder, who has been linked with a move to Italy for several months.

Gazzetta Dello Sport now say that an agreement is in place between both parties and the deal will be finalised on Monday.

According to the newspaper, negotiations between Inter and Tottenham are ‘nearing completion’ with just a few final details left to resolve.

Most of the work is done, though, with Inter finally agreeing to pay the €20m price that Spurs have put on Eriksen from the start.

The ‘final jolt’ in the negotiations arrived yesterday when Tottenham and Inter Milan met for the ‘umpteenth’ conference to hash things out.

Daniel Levy refused to move from his €20m asking price, with Inter finally agreeing to pay that price via bonuses.

However, Inter and Tottenham have agreed to ‘postpone the white smoke’ until early next week, with both clubs busy this weekend.

Eriksen will then sign a four and a half year contract, worth €7.5m per year with ‘rich bonuses’ on Monday.
