Chelsea signed Pedro from Barcelona in 2015 and has gone on to score 28 goals and register 15 assists in the Premier League over the past four seasons.
Journalist Miguel Rico, writing for the last page of Mundo Deportivo, claims the 31-year-old has been ‘impeccable’ for the Blues, since swapping the Camp Nou for Stamford Bridge.
The forward had initially signed a four-year deal with the west London club, then last summer he signed a one year extension and his current deal runs down in 2020.
Pedro will turn 32 years of age this week and the attacker aspires to continue at Stamford Bridge beyond the 2019/20 season by signing a new contract with the Europa League winners.
At the end of the last month, Pedro told the Spanish media about his desire to stay at Chelsea for “as long as possible”.
It remains to be seen if Frank Lampard’s side will offer him a new deal or not.
