On Tuesday, AS reported Real Madrid want to overcome Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool in the race for AFC Bournemouth’s Dean Huijsen.

They also stated Real Madrid are hoping the centre-back will help them to sign him in the summer window.

Cadena Ser report on Chelsea’s interest and provide more on their plan to beat Real Madrid to the Bournemouth star.

The 19-year-old has excelled since joining Bournemouth from Juventus last summer and that saw him make his debut for Spain last week. His performances have convinced Los Blancos to bet on him for next season.

Huijsen’s father, Donny, is also his agent, and Real Madrid contacted him in January. The representative visited the La Liga side’s training facilities and met their president, Florentino Pérez, who learnt about the player’s future plans.

Former Real Madrid star Clarence Seedorf is close to Huijsen’s agent and has informed Carlo Ancelotti’s side about the Bournemouth player’s progression.

Cadena Ser state Chelsea want the defender in the next window and the Blues are the ‘only problem’ Real Madrid will face to sign him.

They add Chelsea are ‘willing to offer’ higher salary than what Real Madrid are planning to propose.

If the offers are similar, Huijsen and his camp would be more inclined to accept a long-term contract from Real Madrid.
