On Tuesday, Bild came up with big claims that Roman Abramovich is ‘serious’ over signing Erling Haaland for Chelsea.

It was also stated the Russian billionaire has released around €175m in funds to sign the striker, even though Borussia Dortmund have ruled out a sale this summer.

Another report from Bild states the Blues ‘want to guide’ the 20-year-old to the west London club with a ‘mega offer’ of €175m.

Haaland is back in Dortmund for pre-season training and after yesterday’s session, he was stopped by Bild reporter Jörg Weiler, who directly asked the player ‘will you stay with BVB?’.

Bild states: ‘Haaland thinks about it for a moment, then reacts with a big grin. But says nothing.’

The outlet suggests the player’s ‘grinning silence’ is ‘not a clear commitment’ for the Bundesliga side to dispel the recent speculation around his future.

Super-agent Mino Raiola is the Norway international’s advisor and when approached by Bild over summer exit claims, Raiola said: “There is nothing to say.”

‘One thing is clear’, as per the report, and it’s that BVB bosses ‘categorically exclude a summer sale’ and the same has been communicated to Haaland and Raiola.

If the goalscoring frontman were to leave Borussia Dortmund, it will be in 2022, when his price tag will be fixed at €75m.
