The transfer window might have shut for incomings in the Premier League, but that doesn’t mean a few players can’t still leave their clubs to try something else abroad.

One of those will most likely be Tiemoue Bakayoko, who is still in talks to join Milan in Serie A, and it will probably be a loan.

On Thursday, we relayed Gazzetta dello Sport’s article on the matter, which stated the Italian side wanted Chelsea to pay some of the wages, and that remains the case.

However, the Blues are quite reluctant to do that, so Milan will have to either be really convincing, or find another way to pay the player adequately.

As for the nature of the deal, the current talks are leaning towards a €5m up front fee for the loan, with a view to buy at €30m further down the line.

That would help Chelsea make a large chunk of their original €45m expenditure on the former Monaco star.
