Although Valencia are ready to cut short Michy Batshuayi’s loan at the club and let him walk, it seems Chelsea are not in a hurry to approve the move.

Outlet El Desmarque reports today that the Spanish side already have an agreement with Monaco, so the player can spend the rest of the season in France.

Monaco have recently claimed that Chelsea are blocking the deal, mostly because they would rather let the player go on a permanent transfer.

But now El Desmarque claims there’s another reason why the Blues don’t want to loan Batshuayi to the French side: that’s because they’re still mad over Cesc Fabregas’ transfer.

It’s claimed that Chelsea didn’t like the way Monaco got the player, taking advantage of the end of his contract to offer a small fee to sign him.

Now to have a ‘revenge’ over the French side, they won’t let Batshuayi make the move so easily. Meanwhile, Valencia and the player keep waiting with their hands tied.

Surely if Chelsea were so annoyed with Monaco… they could just have stopped the Fabregas deal.
