Chelsea and Barcelona had their summer windows somewhat linked, as the two clubs did business for each other’s players.
Andreas Christensen and Marcos Alonso moved from Stamford Bridge to the Camp Nou, with the Catalan side also trying to sign Cesar Azpilicueta. Going the other way was Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, and there’s a possibility there could be more transfer drama between the two clubs in the coming windows.
TMW report, according to their own information, that Jorginho’s agent Joao Santos has been ‘spotted in Barcelona’ in recent days. The midfielder’s contract expires at the end of the current season, and he’d therefore be available on a free transfer if there’s no renewal.
According to the report, Barcelona could develop ‘concrete’ interest in the Italy international, although it’s made clear everything is currently at the ‘could’ stage.
Jorginho’s agent often speaks to the Italian media, and there’s every chance this could be another effort to nudge Chelsea into serious renewal talks for the 30-year-old.
