Chelsea turned it on over the weekend against Brighton & Hove Albion as Antonio Conte’s men put four past Chris Hughton’s side.
Also getting a clean sheet in the away match, Conte will have been much more pleased with the performance than he has been with a few others recently.
A big part of Chelsea playing well was Eden Hazard being on song. Scoring two of Chelsea’s four goals against Brighton, the Belgium international has seen his efforts recognised by Gazzetta dello Sport.
Each Monday the Italian newspaper pick a selection of the best performers from around Europe, and usually a few from the Premier League get in. Hazard is no stranger to the team, and has been named once again, given a good 8/10 rating.
Hazard isn’t in bad company, with Gareth Bale and Thomas Muller also in the team.
Another selection which may be of interest to Chelsea fans is Bayer Leverkusen’s Leon Bailey, who has been repeatedly linked with a move to Stamford Bridge.
