At the start of the transfer window, Chelsea star Pedro revealed he’d look positively toward a return to Barcelona, and has already spoken to the president.
The Catalan giants don’t seem to be interested in bringing Pedro back to the club at the moment, but other La Liga sides are apparently keen on signing the player.
According to Spanish website Deporte Valenciano, Valencia are keen on signing the former Barcelona star, but are unwilling to meet Chelsea’s asking price of €20m.
Deporte Valenciano have assumed Chelsea are going to sign Riyad Mahrez, we don’t know why, and that could leave the door open for Pedro to leave the club.
Villarreal and Espanyol are also interested in signing the Spaniard, but Deporte Valenciano don’t expect them to make an offer for the player.
Valencia could sign Pedro if he is willing to take a wage cut and Chelsea lower their asking price. They would also be interested in signing the player on loan with an option to buy, but Deporte Valenciano believe it’s all very difficult.
