Chelsea reject €25m offer for player and make efforts for renewal instead

The German media have landed back on Callum Hudson-Odoi.

Bayern Munich have been repeatedly linked over the past few months, with the player’s injury not completely killing the rumours.

With it now being accepted in Germany that Leroy Sane doesn’t fancy leaving Manchester City this summer, the focus is again returning to the Chelsea player.

On Thursday evening, Bild claim the Blues have rejected a €25m offer from the Bundesliga champions.

The German newspaper say Hudson-Odoi would quite like to move to Bayern, but that Chelsea are putting up a wall. His current contract extends in June 2020, and the Stamford Bridge club want that extended by a further five years.

Bayern have felt they could get the 18 year old relatively cheaply, because of the Achilles injury he picked up in April, however, that plan doesn’t seem to be working too well.

Hudson-Odoi is said to be hesitating over a renewal due to a worry over minutes when he returns from injury.
