With Victor Osimhen still surrounded by transfer rumours, Chelsea are today again named as contenders for his signing.

The freshest story on the future of the Napoli star comes from Calciomercato, with the outlet claiming that with his goal against Barcelona at the Camp Nou last night, he’s worth €130m.

That is the ‘mandatory’ condition from the Serie A side, who know how important their star is and will do their best to get as much as possible for him.

Regarding the clubs who want to sign Osimhen, Calciomercato writes there’s a race between two clubs. Those are Chelsea and Paris Saint Germain.

Those sides are said to be ‘ready to pounce’ for the signing, as it is extremely like that the striker will be leaving Italy at the end of the season.

Osimhen may not be having his best season for Napoli, but already has nine goals and three assists in 19 appearances, and continues to be one of the most desired players on the market.

Chelsea’s hunt for a new centre-forward is a recurrent subject in the media, and we’ll see whether they would be willing to pay that much for the Nigerian star, and, more importantly, whether he would be ready to join them if they have no European football on offer.
