Juventus are reportedly keen on signing Juan Cuadrado permanently this summer, and that’d put Stephan Lichtsteiner’s future at the Serie A club in doubt.
Chelsea boss Antonio Conte, however, could come to the rescue of the Swiss international, and he is very much interested in a reunion with the Juventus star and taking the experience player to London.
According to a latest report in Gazzetta dello Sport, Chelsea are ready to offer €15m for Lichtsteiner. Gazzetta say the ‘feeling’ between Conte and Lichtsteiner has always been great.
The 32-year-old is currently on international duty at the Euros in France, and it remains to be seen if Chelsea would really pay €15m for him.
Earlier, reports in the Swiss media also claimed interest from Chelsea in Lichtsteiner, and the player has been tipped to leave the Serie A club after 5 seasons.
It seems everyone is keen on a reunion this transfer window.
