Chelsea’s summer signing Angelo is getting loaned to Strasbourg, according to reports from Brazil.
Outlet Lance today shares a very complete story with some details about the 18-year-old’s future with the Blues.
Angelo took part in Chelsea’s pre-season, and the report claims that he even managed to please Mauricio Pochettino’s staff with his minutes on the pitch.
However, it was decided that he wouldn’t have many chances to play for the Blues’ first team this season, and that’s why they’re sending him to the French side.
Chelsea’s hope is that he gets enough minutes for Strasbourg and starts his adaptation to European football.
The French side are partners of the Stamford Bridge club, so besides the ease to find a deal, the agreement also lets the Blues bring him back to London before the next summer if they choose to.
Lance writes that Angelo is travelling to France today and will join Strasbourg’s squad this week.
The player is expected to be followed by Deivid Washington, who’s also joining Chelsea on a move from Santos, with the deal set to become official soon.
