As Olivier Giroud’s transfer from Chelsea to Milan is being taken by the Italian media as a done deal, it only looks like a matter of time until he can be announced by the Rossoneri.

Website Tutto Mercato Web features a story which brings the final details that are left for the move to be complete.

The outlet writes that Giroud will be in Milan at the weekend, as his arrival to the city is scheduled for Sunday night.

The striker should then have his medical on Monday morning and finally sign a two-year deal with the Serie A side.

Tutto Mercato Web didn’t bother saying how much Milan will pay for the transfer now. The last reports from the Italian media had been claiming that the Rossoneri will spend around €2m on the move, including bonuses.

Giroud’s contract with Chelsea was supposed to expire this summer, and was extended for one year with the Blues triggering a clause. That was a little move for them to get a couple of million from the sale.
