Tiémoué Bakayoko is on the verge of completing his annual exit from Chelsea, with TMW picturing him arriving for a medical to join the Serie A club.
Joining the Blues from AS Monaco in 2017, the midfielder has been out on several loans. First he went to AC Milan, then back to AS Monaco, and he spent last season in Italy with Napoli.
The 27-year-old will now be going back to AC Milan, where he’ll hope to stay for the long term. He’s going through medical tests with the Serie A side this morning and should those reveal no problems then a move can be completed, and it’s thought an announcement can come at some point today.
Sky Italia report Bakayoko has renewed with Chelsea until 2024 and will move to the Rossoneri on a two year loan with a €15m buying option at the end of it. Should that option not be used then don’t rule out the player returning to Stamford Bridge, only to be loaned out again.
