Back on Thursday, Sky Deutschland reported that Bayern Munich had submitted an official offer for Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga.
It was said the Bundesliga side placed a bid, willing to sign him on a one-year loan with an option to buy.
Now as Sky is back with an update on this chase, it’s claimed that Kepa wants the move to Bayern.
The outlet claims the German club are ‘one step further’ in their pursuit, as they now need to deal with Chelsea.
Thursday’s claims about the bid are repeated, with Sky Germany now claiming it’s still ‘unclear’ how much Bayern would potentially pay for that buying option.
It’s just said that Chelsea were told that the Bundesliga giants want that clause included.
It’s worth recalling that Thomas Tuchel worked with Kepa at Stamford Bridge, and seems to have personally chosen him as a target.
With the goalkeeper unlikely to be Chelsea’s number one this season, there’s been reports from Spain saying he was also offered to Real Madrid, who are looking for someone to temporarily replace Thibaut Courtois.
