As Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah continues to be linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge, it’s now AS Roma who are said to be interested in him.
The information comes from Gazzetta Dello Sport, who today detail the Giallorossi’s mission to find a new centre-back in the January transfer window.
The Serie A side are having several injury issues in their defence, and among the list of options they have, there is Clahobah.
It’s said the Chelsea player ‘appeared’ on Roma’s radar, standing next to Eric Dier and Jerome Boateng.
There isn’t a lot of information on how strong the Giallorossi interest is, and things should become clear once they actually start moving, closer to the winter market.
Chalobah has also been linked to Bayern Munich, with the German media recently claiming he’s ‘very likely’ to leave Chelsea in the January window.
In case the Blues are really interested in the sale, then this competition could give them a better scenario to get a fair price for the transfer. Chalobah is valued by Transfermarkt at €18m.
