A year after leaving Napoli for Chelsea, Maurizio Sarri returned to Italy after Juventus appointed him as their new manager.
Last summer, Jorginho left the Naples based club and joined the Blues and the midfielder was a regular inclusion in his debut season in England.
Even before the 60-year-old was appointed as the Turin club’s new coach, there were reports linking Jorginho with Juve.
The Brazil-born Italy international’s agent Joao Santos also refused to rule out his client’s exit from the west London club and went in to stress “it wouldn’t be strange” for the 27year-old to follow Sarri to his new club.
It is claimed Jorginho is the ‘ideal solution’ for the Italian champions’ new boss, and despite Chelsea’s transfer ban, they would ‘not resist the sale’.
Jorginho is the first choice target for Juve sporting director Fabio Paratici, if Miralem Pjanic decides to leave the club.
If Pjanic decides to continue with Juventus, Jorginho’s chances of following Sarri to his new club are slim.
