When Chelsea striker Armando Broja signed in September a new contract with Chelsea, he made it clear that continuing his career at the Blues was the only thing in this mind.
That’s why, following rumours saying Atlético Madrid are interested in signing the 21-year-old, Fichajes today features a story claiming the player is ‘not thinking’ of ‘abandoning’ the Stamford Bridge side so soon.
The outlet, however, makes it clear that Broja may ‘change his opinion’ soon. That’s because of the lack of minutes he has been having at Chelsea this season.
It’s said that despite having signed a long contract with the Blues, it’s still possible that he could leave the club on a loan deal, and that’s where Atlético Madrid could come in to offer him a possibility of playing more in big stages.
Playing for Chelsea this season, Broja has 14 appearances so far, but the problem is that he’s mostly been brought on at the end of games, and only has 273 minutes on the pitch.
The striker was recently linked to several Italian clubs, but in case he’s looking for something different, perhaps Atlético Madrid would show up as a more interesting option for him.
