This weekend, French outlet Get France Football News had an article saying Chelsea were keeping close tabs on PSG’s Javier Pastore.
They claimed that the midfielder’s future in Paris is uncertain, and besides the London side, eyes from China and Italy were also on the player.
Well, Tutto Mercato Web has an exclusive story on Monday, basically saying the same things. The difference is that they have a few more details about it.
The website claims that Chelsea are in ongoing contact for the player. Juventus would be a bit out of the fight and the Chinese money from Shanghai SIPG seems to be the Blues’ biggest competition for now.
The problem for those who want the player is that PSG have no intention to sell him in January, and will do everything possible to resist the offers. Next summer would be likelier.
With only six appearances this season, Pastore is still to convince he’s as important a player for the French side as he once was. The Argentine international struggled with many different injuries last season, and in case he fails to change this scenario, it’s likely PSG will change their opinion and start hearing the bids next summer.
