The talks between Chelsea and Juventus for the transfers of Romelu Lukaku and Dusan Vlahovic are today highlighted on Corriere Dello Sport‘s front page.
It’s claimed that following several calls between the Belgian player and Old Lady manager Massimiliano Allegri, the clubs are set to have new contacts this week.
Juventus continue stick to a valuation where Lukaku is worth €40m and Vlahovic’s price is €70-80m. The story doesn’t really explain how much Chelsea have put on the table so far, but according to their words, the Blues need to raise their bid by €10-15m to get the swap done.
Knowing that Lukaku is out of Mauricio Pochettino’s plans for the season, Todd Boehly is reportedly ‘willing’ to get the deal done as soon as possible. There was even a call scheduled for Monday, but with the clubs being busy, that was postponed to Tuesday.
This call is expected to take place exactly for Chelsea to raise their offer.
Corriere Dello Sport wonder if the deal will get done this week. Lukaku has been in constant contact with Allegri and hopes to join the Old Lady by Friday.
