Chelsea appointed Graham Potter as their manager in September and handed him a five-year deal.

Potter has been in charge of the Blues for 14 league games, during which he guided them to seven wins and three draws. The west London club were knocked out of the EFL Cup against Manchester City last month.

Chelsea are currently eighth in the table, trailing fourth placed Tottenham Hotspur by eight points, but they do have a game in hand.

The 47-year-old’s future at the Bridge could be uncertain as his employer have opened talks with Luis Enrique. That’s what El Chiringuito journalist Javi de la Peña is reporting.

Spain sacked Enrique after La Roja were knocked out of the World Cup by Morocco in the round of 16. De La Peña claims negotiations between Chelsea and the ex-Barcelona manager’s environment took place before the World Cup.

In another tweet, De La Peña further states Atlético Madrid and Chelsea are the two clubs looking at Enrique. The Premier League side are ready to offer him a three-year deal worth €12m net per season.
