Chelsea midfielder Jorginho is ‘sure’ to be the subject of ‘important proposals’ this summer, according to his agent.
The Italian midfielder arrived at Chelsea in the summer of 2018, with then-manager Maurizio Sarri making him his number one target after their time at Napoli.
His first year at Stamford Bridge proved to be a difficult one, though, with many focusing their disappointment of Sarri’s reign at the midfielder.
He has flourished this season, however, playing a key role in Frank Lampard’s first season in charge and earning back the love of the fanbase.
“His goal is the Europeans with the national team,” Joao Santos told Tuttomercatoweb.
“There are many expectations around Mancini’s team. The European Championship is also a good showcase.
“Even personally, he is doing very well at Chelsea, and I am sure that some important proposals will come because in its role there are not many high-level players like him around. “
If there were proposals for Jorginho this summer, one of them would likely be coming from Juventus.
Former Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri is now in charge at the Old Lady and is a big admirer of the Italian midfielder, with Jorginho having been the heart of his successful spell at Napoli.
Santos certainly hints that could be the case, opening the door to Juventus when specifically asked if he means them.
“Why not?” he added.
“I am sure that some important proposals will come, which we would obviously evaluate together with Chelsea.”
