Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham were all in attendance last week to watch FC Midtjylland and Fenerbahce clash in the Europa League.
That’s according to Tipsbladet, who report that the Premier League trio were among a host of European clubs to make the trip to watch the game.
They report that they investigated which clubs had decided to scout the Europa League clash between the two sides on Thursday, which ended in a 2-2 draw.
Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham were all in attendance from the Premier League but were joined by Eintracht Frankfurt and Borussia Mönchengladbach. Real Sociedad, Ajax and Ferencvaros also attended the game.
Tipsbladet speculate who they may have been there to watch and say Darío Osorio is likely to be a target. He’s been a target for Liverpool in the past and according to their information, a number of Europe’s ‘money-rich’ clubs are following the Chilean.
Oliver Sørensen also has also attracted interest from the Bundesliga and other major European football nations for a long time.
They almost dismiss the idea of the clubs being there to watch Fenerbahçe given their squad is ‘considerably older’ than Midtjylland’s. They say that makes it harder to find obvious transfer targets.
Either way, Chelsae, Manchester United and Tottenham were all in attendance at the game to scout potential future signings.
