Chelsea want to sign Club Brugge youngster Antonio Nusa on deadline day, according to Het Nieuwsblad.
The Jupiler Pro League side signed the 18-year-old from Norwegian side Stabæk Fotball in 2021 and he’s made 44 appearances since then, mainly as a substitute.
He’s been a regular this season, clocking in 533 minutes from eight games, managing a goal and two assists in the process.
The forward’s potential and profile has pleased Chelsea, so much so that they have made a €30m offer to secure his services. It’s down to the Belgian club and the player to make a decision.
Club Brugge have qualified for the Europa Conference League group stage after a 2-2 draw against CA Osasuna on Thursday. They were trailing by two goals before Nusa came off the bench in the 71st minute and made the difference.
Despite being a vital player, Het Nieuwsblad state Club Brugge will negotiate a deal, for the ‘crazy conditions’ offered by Chelsea, but it’s ‘questionable’ whether the Norway U19 international is open to this move.
Nusa and Club Brugge have to make a final decision quickly because the transfer window in England closes at 11pm today.
