Chelsea may have scored four goals against Tottenham Hotspur on Monday night, in a match which will long be remembered for the utter chaos involved, but they didn’t exactly make it easy for themselves.

It took Spurs going down to ten men and being hit by injuries, losing much of their first choice backline as result, for the Blues to  seal their win.

Nicolas Jackson was able to get a hat-trick and yet despite that there were still people questioning his performance and level.

In Italy, there’s a belief Mauricio Pochettino is among those not entirely convinced with Jackson.

Italian journalist Giovanni Scotto has reported Chelsea initiating contact ahead of a potential January deal for Victor Osimhen. Napoli aren’t thought to be keen on losing their star during the winter market, but Pochettino is said to be pushing for such a timeline.

A summer deal has always seemed likelier, and a transfer would be costly for Chelsea regardless of when it was done. A lot could depend on how Napoli are doing come January and whether they still have the chance to fight for honours this season.
