Chelsea have included Bayern Munich star Robert Lewandowski in their transfer target ‘list’, according to Sport1.

The striker has two years left on his contract and his agent, Pini Zahavi, ‘would not mind’ if his client ends up changing clubs this summer.

Thomas Tuchel wants the Blues to sign a new striker and the report adds Chelsea have the ‘economic means to finance’ a deal to bring the Poland international to Stamford Bridge.

“We’ll see, we’ll see. Maybe,” said Anna Lewandowski, the wife of the ex-Borussia Dortmund star, when discussing the possibility of the 32-year-old leaving the Bundesliga winners.

Although Anna’s comments have caused concerns among a section of Bayern supporters and Zahavi would be in favour of an exit, Sport1 add the topic of Lewandowski’s departure is ‘not particularly hot right now’ at Bayern.

That’s because the German champions have made it clear the player’s departure from the club this summer is ‘excluded’.

Chelsea have the financial means to sign Lewandowski, but the stance maintained by Bayern will make any potential deal complicated to complete.
