It appears that Chelsea are on the verge of announcing three separate exits, all to clubs from Saudi Arabia.
The news comes from Gianluca Di Marzio in Italy, who took to Twitter to bring the latest surrounding the mass exodus currently taking place at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea, having spent a lot of money since Todd Boehly took over, need to make some money before the end of the month and alleviate their wage budget, with clubs from Saudi Arabia kindly willing to help out.
The first of these should be Kalidou Koulibaly, who failed to impress after his big transfer from Napoli, and his move to Al Hilal is ‘expected to be finalised tomorrow’.
We then have Edouard Mendy, who lost his starting spot to Kepa Arrizabalaga this season and will be moved on, and he will sign with Al Ahli on Monday.
As for Hakim Ziyech, who never managed to fully convince anyone at Chelsea despite his big move from Ajax Amsterdam, his transfer to Al Nassr is ‘already done’.
