Italian website Calcio Mercato reports today the big race for Stoke City youngster Mohamed Sankoh.

Following reports saying that Juventus are interested in the player, the website has managed to learn it’s not just the Old Lady, but also another unnamed Italian side have been following the 16-year-old.

These Serie A clubs are now added to the likes of Atletico Madrid, Barcelona and Chelsea in the race for the striker.

Calcio Mercato says that with this many options on the table, Sankoh’s situation could have a development in the coming weeks.

Signed from Sparta Rotterdam on a free move in 2018, Sankoh is still in Stoke City’s U18 squad. He has three goals and three assists in six appearances in the U18 Premier League this season, having also featured in a few games in Premier League 2.

The Italian media has been labelling him the ‘new Lukaku’ due to his physical dominance. But they’re yet to have any information on how much Stoke City would demand for his transfer.
