Italian outlet Il Bianconero today shares a very interesting story on Juventus’ latest negotiation tactics with Chelsea.
Their report first points out that club director Cristiano Giuntoli, who was supposed to be in London to negotiate several deals in the past few days, mysteriously stayed in Italy instead.
It turns out that Juventus are apparently sacrificing all the other talks because they’re focused on the potential deal with Chelsea which will involve Romelu Lukaku and Dusan Vlahovic.
It’s claimed that the Bianconeri don’t want to ‘devalue’ the Serbian striker by showing they don’t want him. That’s the reason for the decision to keep Giuntoli in Turin instead of sending him to London.
Il Bianconero write that Vlahovic could end up staying at Juventus, while Lukaku’s situation is a little more urgent, with the club looking to get rid of his salaries.
That’s why the Old Lady now wait for Chelsea to ‘take a few steps’ and show their offer. And they expect that’s what will happen.
The Serie A giants, standing in a more comfortable position, want to show they have the power in the negotiations.
