The Croatian midfielder’s loan deal to Fiorentina has, according to previous reports by various Italian outlets, been sorted for quite some time, but we’re yet to see him hold the club’s purple scarf above his head.
As you no doubt know by now, the reason for that is the managerial situation at Stamford Bridge, which Gazzetta dello Sport take little pleasure in once again reiterating on Monday.
According to them, ‘everything is blocked’ when it comes to the 25-year-old’s transfer, but that doesn’t mean the deal won’t take place.
For the Italian newspaper, Pasalic will still move to Florence, they just don’t know when, guessing it’ll be sometime this month.
