New York City FC forward Talles Magno has admitted he dreams of making a move to Manchester City in the future.
Magno joined the American side from Vasco de Gama in a €7.27m deal in May last year and after a quiet first year at the club has blossomed this year.
A tally of seven goals and eight assists in 34 games has everyone talking, with his last two seeing him bag a goal and an assist against Orlando and then another assist against Atlanta.
Those are the kind of numbers that earn you attention, particularly when you are a 20-year-old Brazilian forward with a seemingly bright future.
Manchester City are certainly likely to be keeping a close eye on him via their links with New York City FC, who are a part of the City Football Group network of clubs around the world.
Those in charge at the Etihad have not been slow to bring top talent to the club over the last few years and Magno admits he is hoping the same can happen for him.
“For sure, all of us who have plans and dreams to be achieved, when we lie on our pillows, we dream of it,” he told Super Vasco when asked if he dreams of Manchester City.
“I’m focused on my team, wanting to grow, focused, to win titles, but I have my dream of playing in Europe. It certainly crosses my mind, yes.”
