Celtic youngster Vakoun Bayo is in Toulouse today to undergo a medical ahead of a move to the French club.

That’s according to La Dépêche du Midi, who say the Celtic striker will become the French side’s fourth signing of this summer.

Bayo signed for the Scottish Champions in a £2.01m deal from Slovakian DAC Dunajska Streda in January 2019 but has endured a difficult 18 months at Celtic.

He managed just two goals and one assist in 16 games in all competitions last season, managing only 364 minutes of football in total.

Celtic are now seemingly happy to move him on, and he will head to the Ligue 2 side, who are ‘expected’ to complete a move.

La Depeche say that, according to their information, the player has already travelled to Toulouse for his medical and arrived at the club this morning to undergo the necessary tests and sign from Celtic.

He arrives at the club as a likely replacement for Wesley Saïd, who is reportedly suffering from a serious knee injury after limping out during a friendly against Bordeaux.
