Real Madrid are interested in Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard, with manager Zinedine Zidane not opposed to the move.
Edouard has been a huge hit at the Scottish Premiership giants since arriving in a £9m move from Paris Saint Germain in 2018.
This year he’s managed 27 goals in 45 games in all competitions for Celtic, with his overall record for the club currently standing at 60 goals and 31 assists in 126 games.
Those numbers have earned him admirers around Europe, particularly in the Premier League, with several clubs all thought to be keen.
However, it seems they may have to fight off the advances of Real Madrid, who, according to Defensa Central, can also be considered among his admirers.
They report that the Spanish side have become ‘aware’ of the Frenchman, with those higher up the club offering him as an option to Zidane.
He does not see the move with ‘bad eyes’, IE, he thinks it could be a good deal, with it explained that Celtic want at leas €25m for their man.
Whether Madrid are willing to pay that, or if they’ll ever make a bid, isn’t mentioned, although it is made clear that it is Newcastle United who appear most likely to make a move at present.
