Fotomac today claim Fenerbahce are lining up a replacement for Dominik Livakovic as he nears a move to Celtic.
Brendan Rodgers is looking to bring in an experienced goalkeeper this summer after the retirement of Joe Hart at the end of last season.
The Turkish media outlet have reported on the latest developments regarding Celtic’s pursuit of Livakovic and say Fenerbahce hope to bring in Mattia Perin as his replacement. The Juventus owned goalkeeper has been offered a three-year contract by the Super Lig side, with a salary of €3m a season.
This comes after claims Celtic have tabled an €9m offer for Livakovic which has reportedly been accepted by Fenerbahce.
The Croatia international is said to be keen to leave the Super Lig side this summer and a move to Celtic Park looks to be an option. Celtic had previously been linked with Manchester United’s Altay Bayındır and several other options.
The 29-year-old made 40 appearances for Fener last season. He’s contracted to the club until June 2028 after arriving from Dinamo Zagreb last summer.
