Currently stuck at Paris Saint-Germain with little prospect of breaking into the first-team, Edouard Michut is of interest to other clubs.
One of those is Celtic, where Ange Postecoglou seems keen to work with the young attacking midfielder at Parkhead.
The news was first reported in England, and it has now reached France, where RMC Sport’s Loïc Tanzi has managed to have the news backed up by his own sources.
He took to Twitter to explain that Celtic are indeed interested in the 19-year-old and ‘would like to sign’ the player.
Comme annoncé par Sky Sports, le Celtic aimerait faire signer Edouard Michut. Les Ecossais devraient faire une première offre estimée à 2,5 millions d'euros dans les prochains jours. Ce n'est pas le seul club sur les rangs. #Mercato

In fact, the Bhoys ‘should make a first offer of €2.5m in the coming days’, but it’s made clear they aren’t ‘the only club’ after him.
This means Celtic have to deal with competition, but if Michut can fulfil the potential he has shown in the past, it might be one worth fighting for.
Arriving from Versaille’s youth system in 2016, the midfielder has made a grand total of eight appearances for Paris Saint-Germain’s first-team over the years, picking up one assist.
